Our History
Babycare began serving Sheboygan County newborn babies in need and their families in 2005 by offering gift-wrapped boxes of clothing, baby necessities, Pack ‘n Plays, a New Testament, and a church invitation.

In 2011, we recognized a great need for diapers. Some babies in our community were going without, and some were wearing “dried” disposable diapers. We began providing diapers to babies on a referral basis. As the need increased, we joined the National Diaper Bank Network in 2013 to obtain better diaper pricing. However, the need still exceeds the supply, so diapers are given to each child 12 times.

In 2024, we obtained our own 501(3)(c) status and moved to our current location.
Many volunteers give their time and resources to make Babycare work, and we are very grateful for their contributions and tireless efforts to help families in Sheboygan County.

Thank you!
We are so grateful for the businesses and community organizations that continue to support our mission to support those in need.

I have referred new mothers and fathers to Babycare (and) the new families have been thrilled with the support given to them by Babycare. Many of these families wouldn’t be able to provide many of the basics for their new baby without the help of Babycare. It’s an amazing ministry!

Babycare is an awesome referral for our clients who are in vulnerable situations. It’s a tangle way for women to be encouraged that they can choose life despite financial struggles.

The families we serve in Sheboygan County are very limited in resources to provide for even the basic needs of their families. Babycare helps to fill this void! We are VERY grateful to live in such a giving community.
